Dear friends and colleagues,
We would like to personally invite you to the Shoulder Arthroscopy to Arthroplasty Symposium 2023; Current Concepts in Shoulder Pathology, which will be organized between 18th and 19th May 2023 in Orthopedic Hospital Valdoltra, Slovenia. It's a thrilling time for shoulder surgeons as we continue to grow, always remaining adaptable, motivated and open to new ideas and different perspectives. Our shoulder surgery is confronting a time of many changes and we're encountering these changes during a period of large nation-wide and global transformation. As the world of shoulder pathology is an exciting area it will always continue to bring inspired people together. An exciting program awaits us, six live surgeries, arthroplasty with navigation, trendy techniques in instability management and discussions about most of the hot topics in shoulder pathology.
We would like to provide you with new ideas and present the latest achievements in shoulder pathology treatment, which hopefully will inspire you in your future work. Together, we will discuss the latest achievements and established methods of surgical treatment of glenohumeral instability, ranging from soft tissue to bony procedures. Shoulder arthroplasty will focus on the use of stemless and short stems in anatomic and reverse prosthesis. One of the hot topics will be the use of navigation systems in shoulder arthroplasty, which will also be performed during the three live surgeries.
We always strive to do our job better, by improving our surgical technique, knowledge and ability to achieve better tendon ingrowth, better shoulder stability as well as better clinical outcomes after arthroplasty procedures. Besides mastering surgical techniques by learning tips and tricks, we work to improve the indications for different surgical procedures and manage complications correctly.
In conclusion, we would like to warmly welcome you to our symposium to share your expertise amongst colleagues. You have the vision, the knowledge, and the experience to help us pave our way into the future. Throughout this conference we ask you to stay engaged, proactive to shape the future of shoulder arthroscopy and arthroplasty. Our personal thank you goes to all of you.
